Security and Censorship On the Net
Abstract
Security issues of a general nature (eg: good housekeeping) and some which result from delivery of services over the Internet and the WWW are examined. Much concern surrounds the Internet and the security of networked data and sensible risk assessment is necessary. The security mechanisms adopted by Manchester Computing for its external services, including those for delivery of e-journals by the Superjournal project are outlined.
